A Car insurance liability option covers you against liability claims resulting from injuries and/or property damages. There are two type of liability insurance for cars. These types are explained below:

Injury Liability:

This liability insurance offers coverage against liability claims resulting by a person getting injured by your car. The injury liability insurance provides coverage against injuries to other people by you in a car accident. Apart from normal immediate treatments charges, many policies also cover for rehabilitation and similar other medical expenses.

Depending on the level of coverage, it also covers against lawsuits brought against you because of the accident.

Property Damage Liability:

Property damage liability provides coverage against damages to property and vehicle’s damaged by your car.

Note: Motorists are required by law to have both Injury and Property Damage liability policies.
